Professional History

Office of the President Intern, 20th Television within Disney Studios

January 2024 - May 2024

Working in the Presidents office at 20th Television under Karey Burke was an exceptional way to learn about the industry. I sat in on meetings that taught me about the internal functionings of a television studio, I developed my coverage skills while learning about how executives write notes, and I gained assistant experiences. I was able to develop connections through coffee conversations, while learning about the different departments and positions within the studio. I was also able to go onto the 911: Lone Star set and learn hands on about the different phases that a TV show goes through.

Writer and Producer of ICTV show "In Other Words"

August 2021 - December 2023

On the Ithaca College Television Show, "In Other Words," I was a writer for six seasons. I worked in the studio as a camera operator for two season as well, and was an Assistant Producer for one season before getting the opportunity to Produce. Before leaving for Los Angeles, I producer two seasons of this late night sketch comedy show.  This position gives me much creative control and leadership of the show. I had more of a responsibility in making sure the episodes were made and distributed on time, and it really helped me to expand on my organizational and management skills. You can watch these episodes on ICTV.org.

DKA EBoard Member

May 2022 - May 2023

I have been a member of the DKA Cinematic Society since August 2021. I was voted onto the Executive Board as the Programming Chair where I ran the programming committee, delegated tasks to help plan fun and exciting events for people inside and outside of the chapter, and communicated between the Eboard and other committees. Some of the events I planned were diversity screenings, philanthropy events, White Carnation (our end of the year formal), and out semesterly retreat - this involved a lot of budgeting, scheduling, and organization, as we took our entire chapter away for a full weekend to encourage in-chapter bonding.
